Cadaver Dissection Course: Core Concerns

Aspen, Colorado – The cadaver dissection course at this summer’s Cosmetic Bootcamp (CBC) will focus on maximizing safety and efficacy for injectors in the core cosmetic medicine specialties. The session takes place on Thursday, June 22, 2:30-5:00 PM at the St. Regis Aspen.

Course moderator Rod J. Rohrich, M.D., says, “We teach the 4 cosmetic medicine specialties, which include plastic surgery, dermatology, oculoplastic surgery and facial plastic surgery. All of these are accredited specialties that do cosmetic medicine very well. Our goal is to teach them proper injection techniques, and provide them with any new and updated information about products that are available.” He is a distinguished teaching professor and founding chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and a founding partner in the world-renowned Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute (DPSI).

Additional dissectors will include:

  • Paul Afrooz, M.D., a Dallas-based plastic surgeon and the 2016-2017 aesthetic surgery fellow at the DPSI
  • David Seiber, M.D., a San Francisco-based plastic surgeon
