Las Vegas – At the fall edition of The Cosmetic Bootcamp (CBC), attendees got the inside scoop on experts’ favorite cosmeceuticals:
- “I put all my surgical patients on MEND Cosmetic,” said Gregory A. Buford, M.D. “It’s non-GMO, all-natural, great stuff.” The brand also provides sports-related formulations: MEND Orthopedic and MEND Regenerate. “I take the Sports product before I go to the gym. Six NFL teams are using it right now. And several of my colleagues are using it nationwide.”
- For skin hydration, Dr. Buford suggested the Aethern Advanced Skin Beauty Program, which features drinkable concoctions of highly bioavailable vitamins and minerals. A study performed by Zoe Draelos, M.D., showed that the product helped patients increase skin hydration 21%, radiance 28% and elasticity 29%. “It has bioactive collagen peptides, and it really does provide a noticeable difference.”
- Nutrafol – “This product is awesome.” With formulations for men and women, “It lowers your overall cortisol with herbal components. It also lowers your dihydrotestosterone (DHT). I’m using it myself, and noticing a difference.” Dr. Buford is an Englewood, Colorado-based plastic surgeon.
