Christine Hamori, MD, FACS
Dr. Christine Hamori board certified plastic surgeon with an extensive experience in aesthetic facial contouring with fillers and toxins. She is the medical director of the Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Spa in Duxbury and performs a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. New Beauty magazine has endorsed her as an Expert Injector for her skills in facial contouring with fillers and toxins.
Dr. Hamori has been chosen by Valeant pharmaceuticals to be a consultant and physician trainer for Sculptra Aesthetic. She has 8 years of experience injecting this product and enjoys teaching her techniques to physicians around the country. Many patients seek out Dr. Hamori for her expertise in facial rejuvenation. She has achieved Platinum Plus status for her use of Botox and Juvederm and recently participated in an expert summit sponsored by Merz, manufacturer of Belotero, Radiesse and Xeomin.
The Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Spa is a comprehensive medical facility where Dr. Hamori has been performing cosmetic surgical procedures in her nationally accredited operating room for the past 10 years. The Skin Spa offers patients skin and body contouring procedures such as Coolsculpting by Zeltiq, Thermage, Pelleve, laser hair removal and IPL as well as many other non-invasive modalities. Certified aestheticians and nurses provide expert care under the medical direction of Dr. Hamori.
Dr. Hamori received her MD at Tulane University School of Medicine and completed her General Surgery residency at Boston Medical Center in 1996. She then proceeded to University of Pennsylvania Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania for her fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She was then recruited by Boston Medical Center department of Plastic Surgery where she was an Assistant Professor for 5 years. In 2000 Dr. Hamori left BU to create the Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Spa in Duxbury.
Dr. Hamori is an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Plastic Surgeons where she serves on several committees and teaches a course on female body contouring procedures annually. Dr. Hamori has published papers in numerous peer review journals and is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Additionally, she is a medical advisory board member to the Plastic Surgery Channel and RADAR resource. She has been interviewed by many media including Allure magazine, New Beauty magazine, Boston’s WCVBTV – Channel 5 News and has appeared on “The Doctors” as well as “The Montel Williams Show”.
