Lori D. Stetler, M.D. completed her undergraduate education at Baylor University in 1985. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed an internship in internal medicine and dermatology residency at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She served as chief resident in her senior year. She became board certified in dermatology in 1993. Following her residency, Dr. Stetler began her private practice in dermatology in 1993 at Medical City Dallas. She moved her practice to Preston Center in 2001.
Dr. Stetler’s interests include general and dermatologic surgery with special expertise in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Stetler is a Clinical Professor of the Dermatology teaching faculty at UT Southwestern. She was instrumental in starting a Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic at Parkland. She currently trains residents and medical students in cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Lori Stetler is active in a number of local and national organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has served as President of the Dallas Dermatological Society. Dr. Stetler has been consistently named one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas” by D Magazine and “Super Doctors” by Texas Monthly magazine.
Although she takes pride in a very active professional life, Dr. Stetler’s greatest joy comes from her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Charles Stetler, and their two sons.
