Naissan Wesley, MD, FAAD
Dr. Naissan Wesley is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Dermatologic Surgeon, practicing in Los Angeles, CA. With expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology, Medical Dermatology, Mohs Micrographic and Laser surgery, she has authored over 20 medical journal articles and textbook publications, been quoted in multiple media outlets, and is an invited journalist for the Aesthetic Dermatology section of Dermatology News. She has participated in numerous research studies and clinical trials that have contributed to many cutting-edge procedures performed today in cosmetic and procedural dermatology.
She is the director of Director of Mohs Surgery, Skin Care and Laser Physicians of Beverly Hills and Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Wesley graduated magna cum laude with high honors in biology and art history from the University of California at Los Angeles. As one of the top college graduates in the nation, she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Graduating in the top of her medical school class at University of California San Francisco (UCSF), she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. At UCSF, she was also the recipient of the prestigious Martin Luther King, Jr. Award (awarded to only one student annually among all graduate schools) and the National Medical Association’s Emerging Scholar Award. Dr. Wesley performed her internship in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a residency in Dermatology at UCSF. She completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Laser, Cosmetic, and Surgical Dermatology Fellowship at Skin Care Physicians in Boston where she was trained by dermatologic surgeons from Harvard, Yale, and Boston University, all internationally recognized for their contributions to the field of dermatology.
