Seth Kates, MD
Dr. Kates received his undergraduate education at Haverford College and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he was awarded the top dermatology award. He completed his medical internship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been board certified in Dermatology since 1992.
Dr. Kates began his professional career at the Fallon Clinic where he eventually served as Chairman of the Department of Dermatology. He later joined Chelmsford Dermatology and then, in 2000, opened Worcester Dermatology Associates. As a Worcester dermatologist in private practice, Dr. Kates has developed a special interest in surgical and cosmetic procedures while remaining active in general and pediatric dermatology.
He has authored numerous articles within the field of dermatology and written a book chapter. His interests include general dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. He lectures and trains other physicians on injectables and is on the faculty of both Allergan and Galderma Aesthetics. He has lectured at the national level for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
