The Mercedes of Skin Hydration

Aspen, Colo. — At the summer Cosmetic Bootcamp (CBC), an expert explained how Ha5 Rejuvenating Hydrator differs from over-the-counter hyaluronic acid (HA) moisturizers.

Jeanine Downie, M.D., said that many of her patients ask why they can’t just use over-the-counter hyaluronic acid (HA) products. “You can drive the Ford Pinto or the Mercedes. They’ll still get you where you want to go. But you get what you pay for. Your skin will stay more hydrated using something that’s got 5 different forms of hyaluronic acid as opposed to a much lower percentage of hyaluronic acid.”

Ha5 smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles – within 15 minutes, said Dr. Downie. “Patients like the fact that they can see the hydration right away.” It also supports the skin’s natural ability to replenish its own HA, which is the real technological breakthrough, and supports overall epidermal health, she added.

Clinical photographs reveal improvements in under-eye texture after one week of use, with further improvements out to week 8. Dr. Downie is a Montclair, New Jersey-based dermatologist.
