Win a Week-Long Preceptorship in Memory of Dr. Vic Narurkar

Dr. Vic Narurkar was a co-founder of Cosmetic Bootcamp and was dedicated to fostering future generations of aesthetic physicians through quality education and training. For over 15 years, he was selfless and unflagging in his mission to share his expertise through lectures and hands-on training at Cosmetic Bootcamp programs.
To continue Dr. Narurkar’s passion and legacy, we are awarding 1 week-long preceptorships to young doctors, fellows, and residents looking to advance in their specialties. Preceptorships will be taught under past and present Cosmetic Bootcamp Faculty in the fields of Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery. Two to three winners will be hand-selected each year by Cosmetic Bootcamp founders Dr. Kenneth R. Beer and Dr. Mary P. Lupo.
Eligibility
- 3rd-year Residents or Fellows
- Young doctors out of training less than two years
- Must be in a program (or have completed a program) in one of the core aesthetic specialties of Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, the candidate must be entered into/applying for a Fellowship or seeking Board Certification in Oculoplastic or Facial Plastic Surgery.

- The candidate must be entered into or applying for a Fellowship or seeking Board Certification in Oculoplastic or Facial Plastic Surgery.
What We Provide
- One week of training in the office of one of Cosmetic Bootcamp’s selected preceptors
- The content of the training is at the discretion of the preceptor and will include training in toxins and fillers
- Roundtrip travel to the site of the preceptorship
- Modest accommodations near the site
- Modest stipend to cover food and expenses during the week
- Complimentary registration and a stipend for expenses to the Summer Bootcamp.
- Presentation of award at the Summer Bootcamp
- Opportunity to speak for 5 minutes about your experience

- At the end of the preceptorship, recipients will be required to write an essay describing what the experience meant to them and what they hope to carry forward. The essays will be posted on the Cosmetic Bootcamp website.
- The recipient(s) will be required to post on social media about their experience during the preceptorship

Dr. Tej Mudigonda is a a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Mudigonda has a special interest in the surgical management of skin cancer and reconstructive plastic surgery of complex defects under local anesthesia utilizing flaps and grafts.

Dr. Wilmina N. Landford is a Plastic Surgery Resident Physician completing her Integrated-Plastic Surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Medical Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College and received her M.D. from Stony Brook Univ. School of Medicine in New York. She is currently completing her last year of residency and plans to pursue a career as an aesthetic surgeon.
